Ah, it’s finally October, which is probably my favorite month, because not only is the weather perfect, but you’ve got Halloween to look forward to all month!
My sister and I made ourselves October Reading Lists consisting of classic horror/sci-fi books like Dracula, Frankenstein, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde etc. plus a few short stories and things. I’m already mostly done with mine, and it’s all been spectacular. I’ve grown especially fond of Jekyll and Hyde, and so I will now spam you with my artworks of them.
The book is so good, and really short, so I’m gonna have to reread it a few times, and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t read it yet. Also, Dracula and Frankenstein are phenomenal as well, especially Dracula, it’s fast-paced and terrifying, I love it.
As far as art goes, I really like drawing Dr Jekyll, he’s squishy and it’s fun. I know that in the book he’s supposed to be in his 50s, but I just can’t picture that, and…well maybe I’m kind of shallow, shut up. Hyde is supposed to look younger than Jekyll, he’s really small, and Jekyll is of a bigger bigness, so Hyde’s clothes are usually oversized (actually, he changes into Hyde-sized clothes, but that’s not as fun to draw).
Anyway, here you are: Jek Jek and Hyde spam:
